As well as our comprehensive range of full time courses, Kingston College also offers a variety of short courses aimed at adult learners who want to increase their career opportunities or simply broaden their knowledge in a particular subject - or even take that first step into a new area that has always interested them. 

Whatever your reasons, please take a look at the courses listed below.  There are start dates throughout the year and at times to suit you - we offer part time courses that are, for example, one evening a week for a few weeks, or maybe longer for professional qualifications, in addition to Saturday workshops.

Care and Counselling

If you are intending to retrain as a Counsellor, or wish to improve your skills in this or a related field, then please take a look at the following courses: AQA Award Introduction to Counselling Concepts for those who are curious about counselling and want to find out more, AQA Level 2 Intermediate Certificate in Counsellingt Skills or the NCFE Level 3 Award in Counselling which, for many, would be a further step towards becoming a counselling practitioner.

We have also expanded our provision for the continuing professional development of counsellors by offering  Creative Interventions in Counselling - On The Move,  Creative Interventions in Counselling - Developing Your Own Collection, Creative Interventions in Counselling - Sandtray, and the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course to our area of Counselling.

The Power Assessment and Training Centre is a joint venture between Kingsotn College and Carshalton College which provides part-time courses for adult learners in Electrical Installation, Gas, Plumbing, Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency and Digital Technology.
