Kingston College currently has six established Academies which include Basketball, Men's Football, Women's Football, Rugby, Tennis and Trampolining.
The Academy of Sport provides an excellent opportunity for individuals to continue their study whilst pursuing their passion for sport and developing as an athlete. Students must be enrolled on a full time sports course to be eligible to participate in an Academy programme. The College offers comprehensive provision of sport and leisure-related courses to meet the need of individuals and employers in the local area. The Academy programme delivers first rate training, mentoring and support to individuala and employers in the local area.
As members of the Academy, students will receive an exceptionally high standard of coaching and have regular access to a personal strength and conditioning coach.

Kingston College Academy patron Alex Scott played magnificently for Team GB in their impressive performance at London 2012. A small number of places remain at our Women's Football Academy so contact us now to take part - email: adam.douthwaite@kingston-college.ac.uk.
Alex, a greatly experienced England international player, is the figurehead and patron of the Kingston College Women's Football Academy which competes in the Elite section of the British Colleges League. Defender Scott has made the England right-back position her own and will be looking to do the same in the GB team.

The Women's Football Academy at Kingston College is in partnership with England and Boston International footballer Alex Scott. The Alex Scott Academy provides our players with high quality coaching - up to eight hours a week - and the opportunity to compete against top opposition as part of the BCS Elite League. Players can progress onto top club level in the UK or those wishing to continue their football overseas will ahve the opportunity to attain a scholarship in the US. All Academy players will have the opportunity to showcase their talents in front of Alex during the season. Academy students are also encoursed to gain coaching awards and coaching experience working with children from the local community.
Zoe Fisher studied for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport at Kingston College and won the Sports Player of the Year award in 2011. She progressed onto a USA Scholarship at Minot State University where she is currently top goal scorer. She plans to major in Physical Education in 2014.

David Lloyd Raynes Park provides the Tennis Academy with its training grounds for the students. Students will receive up to eight hours of coaching per week with an LTA Approved Coach. The latest coaching methods are employed, with statistical analysis of performance and digital video analysis of stroke production and match play. the Tennis Academy offers regular tournament play and participation in LTA-sanctioned tournaments. Each member has the opportunity to visit a US University Tennis Scholarship Programme. Links with US Universities have led to some of our students progressing onto a US Tennis Scholarship. Kingston College Tennis Academy provides students with a better understanding of the industry whilst ensuring their game is developed further.
Alex Yuille studied for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport at Kingston College and progressed onto a USA Scholarship in 2007 at Georgia Southern University. He is in his final year of his degree and nopes to major in Business Management whilst having a successful singles and doubles career in the Georgia Southern University team.

Staines Town F.C. provides the Men's Football Academy players with outstanding grounds for their training and games in addition to our training facilities based in Bushy Park, Hampton Wick. Students receive up to eight hours coaching per week from UEFA licensed coaches and take part in regular fixtures against high opposition - a 'shop window' for players to be seen by professional clubs or agents. Our Under-19s play in the English Colleges' League and our Under-18s play in the Southern Youth League (floodlit evenings) with the added opportunity to enter numerous up competitions, including the FA Youth Cup, the English Academy College Cup and ESFA Colleges Cup.

Dominic Dwyer and Lyle Taylor both studied for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport and have both progressed onto securing professional football contracts. Lyle currently plays for AFC Bournemouth after playing for Millwall. Dominic has played soccer at Tyler Junior College in Texas for two years before signing to the University of South Florida. He was named the attacking player of the year in the Big East and was named 2nd Team All American by College Soccer News and the NCAA. He has just signed a professional contract with Generation Adidas and will soon be signed to an MLS team.

Kingston Trampoline Academy provides the College Trampoline Academy with excellent equipment and a high performance coach. The Academy is a member of the British Gymnastics Federation and Academy members are given the opportunity to compete in trampoline competitions throughout the eyar. Past successes include:
Emma Britton is currently studying for the BTEC Extended Diploma in Sport and plans to progress to a top British university in the summer. Emma recently competed at the World Age Group Trampoline Games in Birmingham, and she currently holds Gold medals for BCS Trampoline events and represents Great Britain for her age group. One to watch in the future!

Kingston College Basketball Academy has been designed to coach students and develop their skills and knowledge to play basketball within a professional structure. The programme offers up to eight hours of basketball per week including a weekly game, participation in the BCS Basketball League and Tournament, experienced England Basketball qualified coaching and indiviual assessment, monitoring and evaluation.

Lloyd Warner studied for both the BTEC First Diploma and the BTEC National Diploma in Sport and progressed to St. Mary's University to continue playing basketball whilst studying sport. Lloyd has become a regular player for the university team and continues to coach basketball to children in the local community.

Kingston Rugby Football Club provides our Rugby Academy with outstanding grounds for their training and games, and works with the College to develop the rugbv of College players to senior levels. Students receive up to eight hours coaching epr week with a RFU approved coach using the latest coaching methods, including in-depth performance analysis and testing.
Steven Hart studied for the BTEC National Diploma in Sport and recently progressed to Roehampton University to continue studying sport alongside being a member of the London Scottish Elite Academy.
