When do I have to pay my fees?
You should pay your fees when you enrol. If you are being sponsored, for example your employer is paying, you should bring a letter from them confirming that they will pay your fees.
We restrict access to our premises. If you do not pay your fees promptly we may not allow you to enter the building, for example, to attend lessons or use the Learning Resources Centre.
Fees are invoiced per year. If you are doing a two year course you will be invoiced for the second year when you start it.
How can I pay?
You can pay in the following ways:
Please write your name and ID reference on the back of the cheque
If you would like to pay before you enrol please speak to your Faculty.
What will I have to pay?
Tuition fees are a direct contribution towards the cost of tuition. A flat rate is charged for full time students over 19 years old, fees for part time students over 19 vary depending on the course. Students under 19 do not pay tuition fees on Learning and Skills Council funded courses.
External validating body registration fees are sometimes required to cover the registration fees charged e.g. an NVQ registration fee. The College pays these fees for students under 19.
Materials charge: Kingston College has a materials charge for a number of full time programmes. This is in order that students receive best value for money materials sourced from reputable suppliers.
Examination fees are collected at enrolment and during the course of the year before students are entered for exams. The College pays these fees for students under 19 if it is a first time entry, the course in question is being studied at the College and the student meets attendance requirements.
