This course is particularly aimed as a progression from the Cosmetic Make Up course or for beauty students or hairdressers who need to improve their skills. It is designed to develop a range of basic hairdressing skills including setting, drying, dressing and finishing techniques. The emphasis is on bridal or special occasion styling.

12 weeks, Mondays 6.00pm - 9.00pm

- Health and Safety
- Setting Hair (rollers, pincurls)
- Blow Drying (various lengths and styles)
- Heated Styling Equipment -straighteners, tongs and heated rollers
- Dressing long hair including bridal techniques
- Suitable aftercare products

Employment in industry as a Bridal/Special Occasion make up and hairdressing consultant
Additional Information
On completion of the course you will receive a College Record of Achievement Certificate. Information regarding specific course charges, (there are no concessions), equipment and materials, day of attendance and enrolment will be given at advice and guidance sessions. Places will be reserved on receipt of full payment and will be on a first come first served basis. Early applicaiton is advisable as these courses are popular. The College reserves the right to only run a course if enrolment has reached minimum required numbers.
