This two year full-time course provides a comprehensive study in all aspects of beauty therapy and epilation.
Entry Requirements
Applicants should be 16 years and above and have four GCSEs at grade C or above to include Mathematics, English and Science-based subjects.
International Entry Requirements: High School Leaving Certificate at C grade or above (including Mathematics and Science based subjects) or other related comparable qualifications. Satisfactory reference, telephone interview if required. IELTS 5.0 or an English Language equivalent certificate

September start. Two years, full time
Content
Salon health and safety, facial and body therapies, essential skills in beauty therapy, body massage and make up.
Other units include dermatology, scientific principles, workplace practices, product making and nutrition.
Practical work in the College's purpose-built beauty salons is complemented by work conducted in the College's science laboratories and by guest lecturers, visits to exhibitions, seminars and competitions. Students' work is monitored by the College/salon to develop commercial awareness and suitability for employment.
Course entry entitles application for student membership of the British Association of Beauty Therapy and Cosmetology. Membership enables students to attend national and international beauty events.
Progression
Employment (Beauty Therapist), Level 4 Higher Level Qualification in Technical Salon Management. This course gives UCAS points, allowing university entry. Foundation Degree in Complementary Therapies and other related degree courses
