VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Make Up Artistry

This course is a specialist vocationally related qualification and is focused on producing highly proficient, professional Make-up Artists. This course will enable learners at a minimum to gain skills, knowledge and understanding required in order to perform a range of make-up treatments and professional beauty make-up treatments for clients.

Entry Requirements

One GCSE in English at grade C.

Course Duration

This course is run on a Monday 9.30am - 4.30pm for 36 weeks plus 10 non-consecutive Saturdays.  The next start date are in September 2012 and November 2012.

• Fashion/Photographic make-up
• Camouflage make-up
• Design and apply face and body art
• Apply air brush make-up to the skin
• Monitor and maintain health and safety practice in the salon

Progression

The VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Make-up Artistry (QCF) provides learners with the necessary understanding and skills to work as a Make-up Artist. Learners can progress into other areas of the beauty industry and/or directly into employment as a Make-up Artist.

Estimated Cost: £1,600.00 plus kit (approximately £400). Instalment arrangement available on tuition fee and kit, please enquire for details.

Funding may be available for applicants who are under 19 or in receipt of JSA/ESA. This applies to the tuition fee only. There is no provision for financial assistance with exam fees or kit.  Your kit must be purchased before starting the course.
