VTCT Level 2 Award in Wax Depilation

The VTCT Level 2 Award in Wax Depilation will develop the basic knowledge, skills and competencies that learners need to provide hair removal treatments for clients using waxing techniques.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 18 years, English GCSE grade C or equivalent. Satisfactory reference.

Course Duration

Courses start throughout the year.  Our next course will commence in September 2012.

Content

Follow Health and Safety practice in the salon
Remove hair using waxing techniques
Client care and communication

Progression

VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make Up, VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Nail Treatments, VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Indian Head Massage, VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques.

Assessment dates will be ongoing throughout the course. Final verification will take place at the end of the course for which students must make themselves available during the day.

Additional Information

£320 plus kit (£100 approximately). There are no concessions available on this course.  Kit must be purchased before starting the course.
