VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Fashion/Photographic Make Up

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Fashion and Photographic Make-Up will enable learners to gain skills, knowledge and understanding required in order to perform fashion and photographic treatments. Learners will gain the skills needed to perform professional make-up treatments for clients via employment in the beauty therapy industry. Emphasis is on practical work with appropriate theory.

Entry Requirements

Minimum age 18 years, VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Cosmetic Make Up/NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Beauty Therapy or equivalent. Satisfactory references

Course Duration

The next course will commence in September 2012, day to be confirmed. This course usually runs one evening a week for 20 weeks.  

Content 

Monitor and maintain Health and Safety practice in the salon
Client care and communication
Fashion and photographic make up (includes bridal, catwalk, period make up, preparation of story books and worksheets

Progression

Level 3 Diploma in Make-Up Artistry
Progress into other areas of the beauty industry or directly into employment

Estimated Cost: £510 plus kit (£200 approximately). Please note, there are no concessions available for this course.  Kit must be purchased before starting the course.
