Engineering Foundation Year

Validated by and offered in conjunction with Kingston University, this is a one year full time foundation course for entry into Mechanical, Aerospace or Civil Engineering Degrees at Kingston University.  75% of the course is spent studying at Kingston University, 25% at Kingston College.

Entry Requirements

Five GCSEs to include Mathematics and any two A levels or equivalent.  For mature students, alternative qualifications or experience will be considered.  Enrolment on this course is via Kingston University and UCAS.

Content

The course consists of eight modules including engineering  mechanics, engineering science, mathematics, laboratory techniques and computer applications, business and communications.

Duration

One year full time for entry to Mechanical Aerospace or Civil Engineering Degrees at Kingston University. (75% of the time is at Kingston University, 25% at Kingston College.)
