On 21 January, Kingston University’s School of Education was delighted to host a graduation ceremony for students who have completed their Foundation Degree in Early Years: Management and Leadership course.
Over 20 Kingston College graduates and their families alongside those from other colleges were welcomed to the event by Kingston University’s Chancellor, Sir Peter Hall, who is the formal head of Kingston University.
Kingston College students did exceptionally well achieving a stunning success rate with four of the students gaining a First Class Honour at the end of their BA (Hons) in Education and Childcare.
One of the First Class Honours graduates, Debbie Powell, commented: “I undertook the Foundation Degree in Early Years at Kingston College before completing my full BA (Hons) whilst still working full-time in order to maintain my salary. This gave me a wonderful opportunity to make good use of my experience and knowledge and move forward onto a new career path. I am currently teaching and visiting students undertaking their own childcare and education qualifications.”
A delighted Jo Dallal, Head of Early Years and Counselling at the College, said: “Graduation day is always a marvellous event for those graduates who have worked so hard, their families who have supported them and of course all the tutors who have seen their students grow in confidence and ability.”
Congratulations to all the successful graduates.
