This week the Employability Team have once again partnered with the Youth Service Team at Wandsworth Council to stage a day of celebration and activities for over 100 local young people to celebrate Black History Month 2022.
As part of the event a series of inspirational talks from local entrepreneurs took place, in addition to workshops run by local organisations in a number of areas, including hair & beauty, African drumming, boxing, and hip-hop dancing.
Learners from the Hair & Beauty section at the College supported the event by providing free services to the young people.
