Diploma in Education and Training (DET)/Professional Graduate Certificate in Education and Training (PGCE) (CCCU) Specialist Pathway - Level 6

It is anticipated that delivery for this course in September will be through some face to face delivery and some online delivery. We will continue to be guided by the Department of Education and Canterbury Christchurch guidelines. Our class sizes are typically small which is beneficial in adhering to social distancing measures and keeping our students and staff safe. We aim to move to full face-to-face delivery as soon as Government guidelines allow us to do so safely.

The course provides the opportunity to become qualified to teach in the Further Education and Skills Sector. It is designed to allow you to build up an understanding of key theoretical perspectives in planning, teaching and assessment. You should then be able to apply this understanding to plan, manage and deliver inclusive learning, teaching and assessment in your specialist subject area.
