Sport and Sport Science

Our range of courses will help you develop your understanding of sport and sport science. Alongside practical work you will also study anatomy and physiology, coaching skills and how exercise affects the body.

The study of sport and its various pathways, including sports science and sports analysis and coaching, provides you with knowledge directly related to the changing needs of employers in specific areas of the sport and recreation industry. Study may lead to career paths such as Recreation Assistant, Gym Instructor or Community Sport Coach or you may continue on one of our undergraduate courses which will qualify you for careers in Sports Science, Sports Therapy or Sports Management as well as many other roles in the leisure and fitness industry.

Students studying on one of these 3 courses courses also have the opportunity to join our very successful Men's Football Academy
